My bath

My bath here is different from the one I used to go in at Grandma's house.

It is not so big, but it is very tall. Also, the water is sometimes a very funny colour!

I like to look into the bath first, then mummy pops me in and I play with my toys. Yesterday I had 2 new ones: a Fairy bottle and a Head and Shoulders bottle - very exciting!

I also like all the metal bits on my bath, though it's scary when the water comes into my bath from the tap. I don't like that.

I like to pull the plug out, though. I also try to crawl, stand up, duck my head under, drink the water and eat everything in sight.

I let mummy know when I want to come out.

I even have my own bath robe and slippers!

Happy Birthday Mummy!

Yesterday was mummy's birthday. I know because some different things happened.

She let me play with the paper from her present. (I still prefer playing with the wheels on my trolley, though.)

I tried on her hat (thanks Jo G!). She thinks she looks better in it, though!

Daddy bought mummy 3 red roses. Unfortunately they are way up out of reach.

For lunch we went to the pizzeria. I have been before, but not since my last visit, when I was still very 'mall. I'm a big boy now and I sat on a proper seat and everything.

I checked out the menu - not very impressed: no bananas or borshch!

And then I waited... and waited... and waited...

And THEN I got cross - I was very hungry - where was the food?!

I'll have some of that, dad! (The waitress offered to warm it up for me! Warmed up milkshake?!) Nothing's coming through!!!

That's more like it!!!

And at last - the pizza!

A visitor

This is Lina. She came to visit me last night. I was transfixed. I stroked her. Her mummy is Rita. Her daddy is Edik. She is one month old.

Announcements

1) I have 2 more new teeth - that makes 11: one for each month! (Not even a year old and a maths genius already!) Actually, they've been there a while, but mummy didn't notice. Well, I don't let her check. Well, would you?! They have been making my nappies ripe and keeping me up sometimes at night. Sometimes, though, I just know something more interesting is going on and don't want to be fobbed off with sleep.

2) I have found my feet. Well, I found them a log time ago. In fact, they are very tasty. But I can also use them to stand on. Sometimes. Mummy thinks this is very exciting, but actually it's better crawling. I wanted to get into the hallway at Babushka's but they put some boxes in the way. That's why I stood up. Then I tried it with a chair, but I fell over and was very sad. It's harder to do it at home. Everything is too high. The sofa is too soft and slippy. I have lots of fun crawling, though, and find all sorts of treasures. Sometimes I even manage to get them in my mouth before mummy notices. But she is very nosy.

The Village

Nearly every week mummy and daddy put me in the car (btw, I always get to sit in the front!!!) and we drive to The Village. It's called Borovskoe. It's where my babushka and dedushka - or baba and ded for short - live. Uncle Andrey, Auntie Lena, Anechka, Uncle Renat and prababusha live there too.

It's a long way, but I don't mind. I look at things - I watch my daddy drive - I would like to try it soon. Then I have a nap and wake up already there.

I like it there. It's better than normal home. There are more people - I like people playing with me and talking to me. Also, the food is good. And there's lots! And and and - they have animals. There is a pig, but he's usually in the barn. There's chickens too. Auntie Lena has lovely soft furry cuddly cats - I like to catch them and put my face in their fur. She also has Sveta the goat.

I always see interesting new things in the village. There is no bath bath there, but babushka sometimes lets me get washed in a tub - a bit 'mall, but locks of fun.

My favourite thing there is a guitar. I love the guitar. I play it. I bite it. I bang it. I whinge if my daddy doesn't give it to me.

I take my bed with me.

Cool dude
