Lex in Boots

I like my valenki so much that I put them on and wear them around the house: (you may have also noticed my funky tights - it's alright, Uncle Matt, all the boys wear them... so mummy says...)

I even tried to wear them to bed one night - that's silly!  (By the way, thanks for the new jama-lamalies, Grandma, they keep me nice and cool in my Lexl bed.)

(Catalogue pose.)

When we were round at some people's house the other day, I made a wonderful discovery:

Now that's what I call a REAL boot!  Next winter I'm getting some in that size!

Mini adventures

Well, the Life of Kittle may be dull, but Lexl Pexl is having mini adventures all the time time.  Mummy just doesn't get on with telling you about them.  Here are a few fings I've done since I arrived on the aeroplane.

Tyotya (Auntie) Lyuda cut my hair (snip snip) and then I had a bath in a funny tub by the pechka (stove):

We went for a walk walk on the lake in the village (that's me and daddy in the first foto).  It was Maslenitsa (like Pancake Day).  It was very cold.

We went out for tea to a cafe.  It was great.  I did lots of runnin runnin and closing and opening doors, until the food came... then I did lots of eat eatin - pel'meni = yum!  I can eat a whole big person's portion.  (But mummy is always trying to take my foto and I am gettin a bit fed up of it!)

I helped put sugar in daddy's tea.  It was lots of fun.  I didn't want to stop.  But daddy did.

I still had enough room in my Lexl tummy for icecream too!

Lexls just like to have fun!

Life of Kittle

What do Kittles do?

Kittles sleep in Kittle beds.

(This used to be a Lexl bed, but it has been made into a Kittle bed - the bars have been narrowed, Lion has moved out and Mr Pink has moved in.)

This is a Kittle-on-tour bed (Mr Pink comes too):

Kittles eat...

 ...and Kittles drink:

Kittles play:

Very occasionally, Kittles go out out:

Even more occasionally, Kittles go in the tub (and come out again):

Kittles smile (still no teef):

But most of all, Kittles shout:

Because the Life of Kittle is a hard life...  More of this anon (but meanwhile, lay on the sympathy).

More big boy behaviour

My big boy cup - I like to drink juice from this cup.

My big boy chair - I can get up and down.  Only sometimes I get stuck and mummy has to help.

Big boy drive drivin!  This is daddy's 'new' car.  He lets me drive drive it when we go out to play.  I like him to close the door so I am really drive drivin all on my self.

My first post

I would like to introduce MYSELF.  Of course, mummy types for me too but I'm sure that won't be necessary for much longer.  I intend to learn to type... right after I have learned to crawl, walk, talk, read and write.  So, soon.

I am Ekaterina Sergeyevna Babenko.  I am a Kittle.  I am a little brown bean.  I am a girlin whirlin.  I am a Squeak.  And I am a Kitten, a Kitty Kitten.

The all new Lexl

I am all a two boy now.  And I am all a big boy.  I can do lots of fings and I have new big boy fings.

These are my boots.  They are valenki.  They help me run in the cold snow, but they are slippery in my house.

This is my new big boy bed:

And these are my new curtains (thanks, Grandma and IKEA!):

I also have a new big boy chair (picture to follow - you can't get the mumas...).

I also have a new baby sister.  Well, she is not very new now - she is a 6months girl.  I got her in England at Grandma's house, but then she came back here with us.  I am glad.  I love my Kitty Kitten.  I said her name the first time I saw her.  I give her lots of kisses... and cars and cushions and tractors and pickles and mashed potato...  Sometimes she is a very loud girl.  So I am a big brother too now and mummy says I have to share... including this blog.  Humph.  All right then, Kittle.  You can come too.  Lexl and Kittle.

Interruption to Service

Lexl Pexl would like to say sorry (I can do this sign but can't say the word yet!) for the long long interruption to service.  Basically, you can't get the mummies these days...

I took a lock a lock of photos during my trip to Grandma and Papa's in England, but mummy didn't do my blog.  She said she was busy.  Well, so was I.  Then, when we got back here mummy said the puter wasn't working...  You can't get the puters these days!

ANYWAY, I hope the puter and mummy are working again now, so here goes: testing, testing...
